Hey, I'm Kate!
I'm a digital and film photographer born and bred in Edinburgh. I love Scotland and I'm often found up one of our many mountains with crazy hair, a muddy bum, and a face full of snacks.
I live to travel and especially love bike-packing and camping. I left my job mid-pandemic to travel the world. On the road, I picked up my camera everyday and realised how much I bloody love shooting other people's magical moments. Now I am home, I am starting off on this new adventure of my own!

If you've got tattoos that your mum hates; autumn is your favourite season; you've binge watched Gilmore Girls countless times, travelling the world is your hobby; or you're just generally a laid back, chilled out human who values photography and wants images that capture how it all felt.
I'm a wedding, elopement, couples, family, and solo portrait photographer. I capture the world as I feel it. Which is why I say 'I photograph feelings'. This seems to have resulted in a style that's somewhat documentary, cinematic and editorial fused together. I'm pretty happy about that.
Memories are important, they make you feel. They remind you of good times, your old self, and of your growth. My own photographs are my most valuable possession. I want yours to be too. Because, there’s nothing that can take you straight back there, to a moment in time, like a photograph can.
Lots of story boarding before we shoot. This is the best way I've found to capture your essence and tell your story. I've got to get to know you and make sure that what we co-create reflects you. The real you. Then when shooting, I use a mix of candid and directed moments to help the narrative unfold.
